Flights to Dar es Salaam Dar es Salaam was founded in 1862 by Sultan Seyyid Majid of Zanzibar on the site of the village of Mzizima. Dar es Salaam means "House of Peace" in Arabic. For a city which such a name it is a surprisingly busy and lively place where it is sometimes hard to find some rest.

Johannesburg has a population of 3.2 million people, unlike other South African cities; no language group dominates, although English is the established lingua franca. The city is the economic hub of South Africa, and increasingly for the rest of African continent.
Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and the 4th highest freestanding mountain in the world. Kilimanjaro is an extinct volcano, and is one of the most massive in the world. It towers 15,000 feet above the surrounding arid plains, and 2.5 square miles of its surface are over 18,500 feet.
Bujumbura is the capital of the Republic of Burundi. The city of nearly 600,000 people is situated in western Burundi's Great Rift Valley on the shores of Lake Tanganyika. Called Usumbura until 1962, Bujumbura serves as a shipping centre for Lake Tanganyika trade in coffee, cotton, hides, and tin ore with neighbouring Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
With a population of 90,500, the majority of Entebbe's residents are civil servants for government ministries. Others make their livelihood through agriculture, fishing, producing consumer goods, or through small-scale industry. The primary languages are English and Lugandan. Entebbe is 21 miles from Kampala, the capitol of Uganda, and on the shore of Lake Victoria, the second largest fresh water lake in Africa.
Nairobi, Kenya ’s mile-high capital is only 138 km south of the equator. Founded by the British little more than a 100 years ago, the city now has a population of more than 2 mil inhabitants. It’s a modern business centre with some interesting high-rises and lots of bustle.
Rwanda is land-locked country in Central Africa. Also known as the ‘ Land of a Thousand Hills’, Rwanda has five volcanoes, 23 lakes and numerous rivers. The country lies 1270 km west of Indian Ocean and 2000 Km east of the Atlantic – literally in the heart of Africa.
